…which will thrill every triathlon, bike (off-road and road) and running lover with its rich choice of premier events. Venues will range from the picturesque Zakrzówek Quarry and its surroundings through the Las Pychowicki. There will also be something for the youngest athletes: kids will compete in races of their own. The first day will be dedicated to road triathlon fans and the second to cross-triathlon enthusiasts, who will have an opportunity to participate in the first ever XTERRA Poland competition. On 12-13 August 2017, professional and amateur fans of this challenging version of triathlon will have an opportunity to compete with athletes from across Europe and the world in the heart of Kraków (Cracow). Organizers selected the city’s most picturesque and exciting venues to host running, swimming and cycling events. The swimming section will take place in the flooded quarry of Zakrzówek. With its rich choice of routes of varying difficulty, the Las Pychowicki will provide a beautiful but challenging setting for the cycling race. Last but not least, running will take you back to Zakrzówek to explore its secret and little-visited paths.
Racers participating in the second XTERRA Poland event will compete for 25 qualifying slots for the XTERRA World Championship held in Maui, Hawaii on 29 October 2017.
